Reflect on PLC Process

Reflect on PLC Process

We are finishing up the PLC process in April.  We will designate PLC time in May for taking surveys, planning for next year, and working on transition sheets for your final F & P assessment.

Reflect on the  HP PLC Process

What went well?
What step of the PLC Process does your team need more support in next year?

Reflect on the  K-5 HP PLC Products

What do you notice?
What do you wonder about?

Self-assess where your PLC is on the PLC rubric.

Discuss one goal for your team next year.

Here are some reflections from the leadership team.  Celebrate your work.

  • We followed the norms.
  • We trust our teams to have deeper conversations.
  • We feel we focused on 4  Dufour Questions questions which kept our PLC student focused.
  • We liked moving at our own pace through the process and we feel like we are independent going through the process.
  • Discussions helped us to solidify the assessment, and to make adjustments in instruction.
  • We feel like we understand K-5 work more and see other grades work.
  • We created good common formative assessments.
  • We need more time to discuss/share results/ data to determine the next steps.
  • Maybe have Chloe attend data talks to help facilitate deeper conversations.
  • Continue to learn K- 5 and with vertical PLC
  • We need to use PLC to score student work collaboratively so we are on the same page.
  • We need to figure out how to make meaningful connections with special ed.
  • The extension part is something we need to continue to investigate.

Please add a comment of your reflections of the PLC Process this year.
